2. DAYCARE
2.1 What vaccinations are required for daycare?

We require Bordetella, rabies, and distemper.

2.2 What is a socialization evaluation of daycare?

Safety is our number-one priority. All dogs must be evaluated to determine if daycare is appropriate. Our evaluation includes two evaluators from Fetch, a control dog, and your dog. The evaluation takes about five minutes.

2.3 When can I schedule a socialization evaluation?

No appointment is needed. Please just stop by Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

2.4 What if my dog doesn’t pass the socialization evaluation?

Just because a dog doesn’t pass doesn’t mean they are a bad dog. They may just not enjoy or be ready for daycare. Dogs that don’t pass can go through our training program and then can be evaluated again.

2.5 Do you separate dogs during daycare?

Yes, we have custom, movable dividers that allow us to create as many separate groups as we need, of varying sizes. It is important for us and for your dogs to keep them in groups of similar behaviors, sizes, and energy levels.

2.6 Do you limit the number of dogs for daycare? How many dogs do you have in daycare?

Yes, we do limit the number of dogs based on our staffing. We typically do not have more than 25-30 dogs at a time, but they are separated into groups of 5-8 dogs.

2.7 Do you feed the dogs during daycare?

Unless requested, we typically do not feed the dogs during daycare. But we do have water for them all day long.

2.8 What are the requirements for puppy play?

This is a time for puppies aged 8 weeks to 6 months to come and socialize. All puppies must be up to date on the age-appropriate vaccinations and puppy parents must remain with the puppy at all times.

2.9 Do I have to register for puppy play?

No, please just stop in during puppy play time.

3. GROOMING
3.1 What vaccinations are required for grooming?

We require Bordetella, rabies, and distemper.

3.2 Do your groomers understand the grooming requirements for different breeds?

We understand that not all breeds or coats are the same. In fact, they are all very different and require different considerations. We will customize the shampoo, conditioner and grooming methods based on your dog, as well as, your preferences and requests. We will give you our recommendations based on your dog’s breed, fur type and condition, and season.

3.3 Do you keep my dog’s past grooming details on file so you can reference them for future visits?

Yes, we do keep details and notes so you can easily request the same services.

4. BOARDING
4.1 What vaccinations are required for boarding?

We require Bordetella, rabies, and distemper.

4.2 What should I bring for my dog’s boarding stay?

Please bring enough food and anything else you think they would want while they’re here, including any treats or toys. Do NOT bring food bowls. We can provide bedding, but please know that the owner is responsible if your dog destroys our bedding.

4.3 How often is my dog let out during their boarding stay?

We have unlimited potty and play from 7:15 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. for your pup.

4.4 How do I access the webcam?

You should log into your Fetch Ginger account here, and you will see information about webcam viewing. Make sure you purchased the webcam access.

4.5 Can I add-on another service like training, daycare or grooming while my dog is in boarding?

4.6 What happens if there’s an emergency with my dog during boarding?

4.7 What holidays are you closed?

We are closed on New Year’s Day, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas. The only service we offer during this time is boarding, but you cannot drop off or pick up your dog on any of these days.
